It is More than Hair

During COVID-19 (#covid19), many have asked why are the barber shops and salons closed in Phrase 1. The bars were allowed to open but not the barber shops and salons in many cities. Social media (i.e., Facebook, Twitter) were filled with posts about the rationale of decisionmakers.

Many of us are attached to our personal barbers or hair stylists; with good reason, I might add. What is it that makes us loyal to a particular barber or stylist over another?  Why is that after a fresh cut or style, we feel different? How is it that these professionals provide a psychological-spiritual affect which can be so transformative? 

Let’s contrast their service from a biblical perspective.
