This is a Pandemic for the Soul

#pandemicForTheSoul #servantleadership

This is a pandemic for the soul.  We are living in the time of a spiritual pandemic. What is this spiritual pandemic for the soul?  First, it is a widespread disease.  Second, it can infect anyone; it does not discriminate.  It has no boundaries.

When you see turmoil, violence, horror, injustice, hatred and neglect…know that it swells up because there is a pandemic within the soul of man.

For those who worry about what you see, what hatred is perpetuated…this is not new under sun.  Take comfort in knowing that God has addressed the root cause of this disease – sin.  In fact, He has said to the violators:

“You have said, “No one sees me; But I, God, see you.

Sit in silence if you desire, go in darkness, if you want; but, “Trouble shall come upon you; “You will not be able to put it off.”

“I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger;

My Word has gone out of my mouth; and it shall not return; that to Me every knee shall bow; Every tongue shall confess.

This is a pandemic for the soul of man.

I say to you, Servant Leaders, that leadership creates culture. For those who choose to lead disciples into wrong paths, God is not mocked. He sees. He has said in Zion, I have called you, that is, I have called you to a place of tenderness and mercy; I take away the millstones and grind up the meal; it is by the shedding of the blood of Jesus the Christ, I have given you salvation.  I have removed the veil between you and me, come to me and live; remove your veil, the scale, of darkness.  Seek me while I can be found. For I am God and there is no other.

Hear what He says– prostrate (bow) yourself and worship me – not a man!  No man can save your soul!  No man has the answer for your soul; he cannot save you out of your trouble.

This is a pandemic for your soul.

Listen, a little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.  For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous (Psalm 37:16-17).  Rise Up for what is right.

The Word truly says the mouth of the righteous speaks of wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice.  The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide (Psalm 37:30-31).

Sin is a pandemic of the soul. This is a pandemic for the soul.  Standing for what is right is acceptable to God.

Matthew 5 Living Bible – Jesus taught the multitude on that day.

“Humble men are very fortunate!” he told them, “for the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them. Those who mourn are fortunate! for they shall be comforted. The meek and lowly are fortunate! for the whole wide world belongs to them.

“Happy are those who long to be just and good, for they shall be completely satisfied. Happy are the kind and merciful, for they shall be shown mercy. Happy are those whose hearts are pure, for they shall see God. Happy are those who strive for peace—they shall be called the sons of God. 10 Happy are those who are persecuted because they are good, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

11 “When you are reviled and persecuted and lied about because you are my followers—wonderful! 12 Be happy about it! Be very glad! for a tremendous reward awaits you up in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted too.

13 “You are the world’s seasoning, to make it tolerable. If you lose your flavor, what will happen to the world? And you yourselves will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. 14 You are the world’s light—a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. 15-16 Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.

17 “Don’t misunderstand why I have come—it isn’t to cancel the laws of Moses and the warnings of the prophets. No, I came to fulfill them and to make them all come true. 18 With all the earnestness I have I say: Every law in the Book will continue until its purpose is achieved. 19 And so if anyone breaks the least commandment and teaches others to, he shall be the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But those who teach God’s laws and obey them shall be great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

This is a pandemic for the soul!
