This month, in support of women-owned businesses, we can lend our support. Why?

• Women-owned businesses represent 42% of all US businesses
• Women-owned businesses in the US generate as much as $1.8 trillion a year  
• Women-owned businesses employ over 9 million of the US workforce 

In this pandemic, women-owned businesses have been especially hit hard. According to PEW, the economic fallout from the COVID-19 outbreak has put the jobs of many American workers in jeopardy, but it has also put in doubt the economic fortunes of many of the business owners who employ them (Pew Research Center). Women-owned businesses are not excluded.

All this week, the government has planned several free events for women who are already business owners and for those who aspire to become business owners.
