“Without faith? No! I will tell you why!”
State your case, demanded the judge. The Defendant declared, ” It is a fact that I was a lost sheep. Today, my soul is at ease, and I want to tell you why!”
I Will Plead My Case
Once, there was a shepherd who had 100 sheep. One sheep got lost. The shepherd left the ninety-nine to search for the lost sheep. He searched until he found the lost one. The shepherd was delighted about finding his lost sheep. The sheep felt even more joy at that moment because of the Shepherd. I was that lost sheep!
Can you imagine how this lost sheep felt? Let me tell you. Being lost is scary. It is fearful. I did not know how to find my way because of the darkness. Helplessness settles into the mind. At every turn, there is a sense of danger. My movements so unsteady because of the trembling of my legs. The mouth feels dry because there are no cooling waters. The soul needs nourishment, but there is none. In springtime, there is no one to shear your fur. shearing that will cool him in hot weather. He is irritated and miserable because he is lost. A lost sheep can easily fall into the hands of its prey.
Sheep Reliance
There is no wonder that sheep rely on the shepherd. A good shepherd understands his sheep. He knows the voices of all his sheep. He can distinguish the sheep’s voice of fear from the voice of comfort and joy.
To put your faith in the hands of a shepherd is a place of refuge, even for this type of frail animal. In whose hands will you place your faith? Can you imagine that God loves you so much that he will come for you? The parable that Jesus gave about the lost sheep is who he is – Matthew 18:10-14 and Luke 15:4-7
No, I am not without faith in the only True God – Leadership of a Shepherd who does not fail. You cannot be at the top of your “game” without Him being first in your life. For more like this one, “Am I Demonstrating Fear or Faith? “
