Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, for in Sheol, where you are going, there is no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom. Ecclesiastes 9:10
Ministry is leadership that serves the needs of others. If we serve those who have no need of a physician, we fall short and miss our purpose.
For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant. I Corinthians 7:22. So, let us serve.
Whether at home, work, or other fields given to us, our gifts will make room for us when we do it to His glory. Together we can have the victory as a team, ministry, and as a family. We must seek Him to show us the pathway that honors Him. He will amaze us by showing that the little we have can mean much. Teaching and ministering the Gospel is action in “Word and Deeds.”
“I have a story to tell like any other person; but, the importance of my story is telling it through actions that produce good fruit. Good fruit is the building blocks from character and experiences. It can be your lasting legacy. It will define who you are long after you leave this world. While we are here, we are accountable to our Maker to be the hands, feet, and voice for Him.
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. Feed my lambs.” I ask Him to show me with what. He says, “What is that in your hand?” God’s gifts are different than your talents. His gifts are lasting in ministering and witnessing to others. With His guidance, we can have a purposeful, fruitful leadership.
