How Are You Doing?

Therapists for the Soul

These special physicians are geared for active listening. God has given this gift to some of the most compassionate among us. Comparatively, some of the most impaired people are those who are in leading others. They carry the concerns about themselves and others. So, too often, their plate is so full that they forget to do the basics and take of themselves.

Additionally, it is easy to fall into a pattern and find yourself just getting through the day. This is when that trained specialist can help in unloading the burdens.

First of all, as people, we are complex. We have many dimensions and each part has specific functions. When an area is not functioning as it should, it affects other areas. Overtime, the whole “house” could become weakened and tumble, if we do not fix it. So, let’s fix it before that happens.

Unload the Baggage

Second, let it be your will to unload the baggage. This will benefit those around you, also! What a plus it is to have a professional to engage your thoughts; above all, it is to have that objective listening ear. They are wired with this gift of listening without passing judgment. However, as the professional, they are to give you truth. Not what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. This is so that you can “repair the house.” Furthermore, no person is designed to walk this journey alone, especially when you do not have to. They will guide through the necessary steps.

The Toughest People

Life is tough. It has its joys and pitfalls. The toughest people are really those who seek help, not avoid it. Then you can celebrate the joys while moving through the journey of wellness. The goal is not to give up, rather given in to supportive professionals. So, how are you doing?

  1. I listened to every word in a calm state of mind. Gardenia, your authenticity and care shine through. Your thoughts made me pause to think about my state of mind and ask if I’m doing okay. That alone is a wonderful gift.
